At Roster Home Care, we are always looking for compassionate, reliable individuals to join our growing team at our branches across the country.
At Roster Homecare, we believe that high-quality care begins with a strong and supportive induction.
We are committed to ensuring that all members of our team are fully prepared to deliver safe, effective, and compassionate domiciliary care. All new staff complete a structured induction programme to help them understand their role, our values, and the standards expected when supporting individuals in their own homes.
Our induction programme takes place over a four-month period and combines learning, practical guidance, and shadowing experienced staff, helping new team members gain confidence before working independently. During this time, staff also come into the office to meet the office team and learn about their roles and responsibilities, helping them understand how the whole team works together to support both staff and the people we care for.
Throughout the four-month induction, new staff meet with a member of the management team each month to review their progress, discuss any questions or concerns, and ensure they feel supported in their role.
In addition to our in-house training, staff complete e-learning modules covering essential topics such as safeguarding, infection prevention and control, health and safety, and person-centred care.
For more specialised support needs, we also work with an external trainer who delivers training in complex care to ensure our staff are equipped with the appropriate knowledge and skills.
